Joe Cafasso REALLY IS the Carteret Con Artist. His latest adventures include the arrest in Indiana on January 22, 2009 which was preceded by a typical Cafasso-esque scene: his forcing himself into a search and rescue operation at the Indiana Dunes; bragging that helicopters would appear which never did, and elbowing his way into the rescue tent and barking orders at everyone. Out of all the rescue personnel at the scene, it was Cafasso, AKA Robert Stormer, who was quoted by the press~! It was his strange behavior and injecting himself into the life of a widow that drew the attention of local authorities. A man who appears from nowhere with no past or friends and relatives should not be trusted. After his traffic stop where he had no valid identification, he was eventually arrested for ‘failure to appear’ in court. It was only then that he admitted that he was Joe Cafasso, but claimed he was going by an alias because spooks were after him.The charges, which interestingly enough, are not mentioned when you call the jail-are “providing false information” to law enforcement (he at first tried to tell him he was Robert Stormer before eventually admitting he is actually Joe Cafasso), “driving on a suspended license”, “speeding”, and using the name and social security number of a 13-year-old girl in Rhode Island whose name is Robin Storm (identity theft).

We always thought that Cafasso was just a blowhard con-man who used (among other things) fake military credentials to gain fame and fortune, mostly to stroke his ego and make a few easy bucks off the unsuspecting "mark". The true purpose of Cafasso’s lifelong con game only recently came to to light: Cafasso has been running a lonely heart's scam all this time. The list of the women left in his wake has grown considerably. And sadly, the most recent was a woman in Indiana: used, abused, and skipped out on.

A Mensa Girl- First, there was the "mark" in Washington DC, who Cafasso spun his CIA tales to. He got a job with FOX News as a Delta Force Colonel and served as their Military Analyst for the 2001-2002 Afghan war. He was exposed by Jack Idema and a bevy of real Special Forces officers in early 2002, and was then fired from FOX (NY Times- The Colonel Who Wasn’t). The woman brilliant: well educated, and well off, with her own townhouse in DC, but lonely. After six months with Cafasso she was broke, left alone standing at the altar, and in fear for her life. Cafasso told her that he was deep undercover with the CIA and if she ever complained about him she would die. She so believed this that she moved to a remote area of West Virginia, used a PO Box in another town, and went into hiding. It took 6 months for Special Forces soldiers to find her so Jack Idema could interview her. When they first showed up at her house, the woman said “please don’t kill me.” The response from Jack was, “What? What are you talking about? Are you crazy?” And then it all came out. Cafasso had led her to believe that there was already a CIA hit team looking for her. The interview was frightening; Cafasso had turned the woman’s life into a living hell, driving her from family and friends into a life of solitude and fear.

A Boston Girl- Then, there was a lady in Boston. Divorced, lonely, with a beautiful condo. Cafasso spun his web around her next. Five months later, after being outed in a bar by a Massachusetts police officer, Cafasso attacked Robin Moore, beating the old man for telling him he would not be part of Moore’s new Special Forces book. Moore was left with extensive bruises from the beating. Cafasso high-tailed it out of there. He left behind his new love and took her money. But, as fate would have it, in his haste to leave town, Cafasso also left behind two cartons of papers. Those papers later ended up in Jack Idema’s hands and painted a picture of extensive fraud by Cafasso, who was working with Ed Artis at Knightsbridge to fraudulently obtain USAID grants of millions of dollars posing as phony Knights and Colonels with phony PhDs.

It is no longer being held by the Indiana state conservation department; and this is worrying because the FBI HAS USED CAFASSO AS A SOURCE. According to my contacts, Kathrym Cramer's apple laptop is now in the hands of the FBI.

The White Plains New York FBI department had an open file on Cafasso once, and they didn't pursue it. It will be interesting to see if these flatfooted keystone cops do anything with it THIS time, even though they have all the evidence they could ever hope for in their hot little hands.

When reading over at Causal Nexus this morning about how less-than-impressive Cafasso is as Robert Stormer when he attempts to "investigate" the failure of EPIRB systems and encourage people to write their representatives to spur investigations, I began looking around for other examples.

It is not only Cafasso's signature temper, and desire to have people killed that sets him apart from the other investigators, it is what the writer at PANBO summarizes in this post:

Conclusion? Stormer’s sloppy Ellie B./Adriatic example does not illustrate why Congress should push the Coast Guard to better investigate EPIRBs problems, as he claims, but instead how the USCG already does such investigations when appropriate. It also suggests how deeply shoddy and biased his investigative reporting really is. A motivated high school student could do better, and more balanced, Web research in a day than he’s managed in a year. Stormer’s “investigation” sure looks like a self-aggrandizing vendetta—facts and critics be damned—and nothing but a disservice to mariners, equipment manufacturers, the USCG, and the whole SARSAT community.

It was pointed out by CN that there are some who readily recognized Cafasso as someone who doesn't know what he's talking about. Saying that you have credentials such as a degree in engineering and actually having a degree in engineering - are two completely different things. If he were qualified to speak on these issues, he wouldn't be caught plagiarizing, and wouldn't be caught mis-reading the very articles he references. He can't even draw reasonable conclusions.

His negative reporting demonstrates yet another attempt to bamboozle not only people who are interested in exposing maritime accidents and the failures of the systems that put lives at risk, it reveals his desire to drag government agencies and government entities into it.

He is famous for conracting and filing fictitious complaints and reports with government agencies; it's part of his schtick.

That is what Robert Stormer, aka Joe Cafasso did in Indiana and when he was running around in Florida after that shipwreck. He most certainly did that under the name of Lt. Col. Gerry Blackwood.

According to the law, if he'd shown up at Western Union and provided the documentation he showed in Indiana to prove he was Robert Stormer, that would have been illegal, too.

According to the law - if I'm reading it correctly - someone found guilty of such an offense isn't even allowed to go on parole.

It would be interesting to see if what he's done qualifies as terrorism, according with this:

Scott Covington is making phone calls complaining to whoever will listen to his crying that he and his wife are "scared" of Larry Sinclair. This is rather laughable when he himself complained in July that he would never be afraid of a "common criminal" such as Larry Sinclair.

This is a rather hypocritical approach when you consider that Scott Covington himself is a fraud and con artist who defrauded his customers at the Piano Store for over $750,000. His father paid restitution in order to keep him out of the clink; and by some miracle the Piano Store is still in business.

Scott has been leaving his droppings all over the internet and his history is relatively easy to dig up.

There are even some places where he called himself "Mitch Covington", but after getting caught, he denied (protesting too much) that Mitch was him. This is like Joe Cafasso claiming he was not Lt. Col. Gerry Blackwood.

Quandam politics may be gone from the web but the cache about our new hero Jeff Barea still exists. Their being scared off the internetz by someone who's scarier than they are is fantastic news.

Why, you may ask? Because M&N and their associates have been stalking Larry Sinclair in a number of different ways, including forcing his websites off line, peppering comments sections with falsehoods, collecting information about his supporters and publishing their emails and personal information - including medical histories, compiling a list of employers, going after people through email, issuing death threats, etc.

They even used the Cafasso approach by attacking Sinclair's lawyer and calling Sinclair's mother. These are not new tactics; we have seen them already. *yawn*

All right, we could construe this behavior as - not something threatening as then intend, -but merely as an invitation to play. Let's see what you think when the shoe is on the other foot and it's you who is being investigated; whose being probed.

It has come to our attention that there is a piano dealer in TX owned by Scott Covington that is being investigated for different unethical and allegedly illegal business practices. We do not know this person, or his operation. What are worse than the alleged charges made about this company are other piano dealers playing loose with the identity of who the Piano store is. It has come to our attention other dealers are leading potential buyers into believing that we at the Piano Superstore are some how connected, affiliated, or the same. This is not the case. Please be aware of dealers who would rather defame a competitor rather than simple compete with them on price, product, and service.

Several years ago in an effort to try and scare customers from buying online a manufacturer sent a memo out offering a very cheap piano that was intentionally made of poor quality, design, and build. The piano was made with no name on the fallboard. This was done so that if a customer called in and said they saw a piano on eBay or online and would like to know if the dealer carried it, they could say yes we have one come look. The dealer would then apply a decal to the piano on the floor and use it to sell against to try and push his brands. This is highly unethical at best and illegal at worst. Please be aware of dealers who will try this trick. It is called in the business "nailed down piano". It is used all the time with dealers who sell Kawai and Yamaha. Yamaha dealer will buy a gray market Kawai (a piano sold directly from overseas), or Kawai dealer will buy Yamaha. In either case they will intentionally not have the pianoperforming well to sell against it. The best advice is never buy a piano from anyone who has to criticize a different brand or dealer to sell his.

Scott Covington is now trying to shut down blogs that post his personal information, as if it's not public information!

Covington was in business and was participating in threads at the Piano Forums with his phone number on prominent display.

He is listed in the white pages - both under the Piano Store and under his name Scott Covington, listed as President of the Piano Store.

Blogger, wordpress, and any other hosting outfit should remember that it is not illegal to publish someone's information when they themselves made it public.

When you are a business owner, you are compelled to behave in a civilized manner and not steal from your customers, and behave in a reasonable manner. When you behave honorably, you get a good reputation, and people recommend your business for good customer service, and usually have glowing stories to tell when they're happy.

But when they're unhappy, the stories are 3x more likely to circulate.

Those are the numbers. That's why it behooves business owners to behave in a way that promotes good business.

And when they don't, their business goes under.

Ethical business practices are good business.

And Covington doesn't practice them.

And that is aside from his stalking Larry Sinclair and making nasty extortion phone calls to Sinclair's elderly mother.

The point is, Covington is making a spectacle of himself all by himself. He doesn't need much help, although consumers are thoroughly within their rights to warn people about his unethical business practices, unbalanced nature and posing as a frenchman.

If this man has a wife and children, and they're not aware of the double life he is leading, they are soon to be in for a rude awakening, and not because of things anyone else but Scott Covington have done. Things have a way of coming to the surface no matter how you try to bury them.

Joe Cafasso wasn't all that smart when he sent this resume around. He committed a crime, which others have been brought up on charges for, when he claimed all of these things:

Gerry is a retired Lt. Colonel serving with the U.S. Army for 26 years.

But he has the audacity to go beyond that:

Gerry served with the 179th Military Brigade/MACVSOG Command and Control South SVN, 1970-1972.

Another complete fiction! Joe Cafasso is only 50 years old, and will be turning 51 in August of this year, he is too young to have served during that period; he should have still been in High School in 1970-1972, since, if he graduated, he would have graduated High School in 1974 or thereabouts (presuming he didn't flunk a grade).

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) 1972-1980 at various overseas posts. NATO Nuclear Liaison Officer 1980-1985.

Ridiculous, but it gets even more hair raising when he asserts the following claim:

After Gerry's assignment with NATO he returned to a special assignment at CIA and Center Lane.

This would have been impressive if people didn't know that Center Lane was an embarrassment of a program, and only a few people were involved. It was abandoned shortly after it was begun, because it was about 'remote viewing'. This is about looking into a crystal ball, hardly something that military analysts should be doing with a serious face.

I'm not going to go through the rest, I'll leave that up to CCA, but this is the piece de la resistance:

So Joseph "Jay" Cafasso wants everyone to believe that he has access to the Whitehouse with a Yankee White clearance.

Seriously, the Secret Service should be very interested in that claim, but I would think that the military and others should be interested in finding out if he ever tried to squeeze money out of the government based on his military expertise.

By claiming that he has a top secret ATOMAL clearance, he is claiming he has access to classified information that could damage or endanger national security if in the wrong hands. I would say Cafasso's hands are the wrong hands, he has NONE OF THIS stuff! He doesn't have a phd or any of the things he claims in this fake resume. Gerry Blackwood doesn't even exist; it's a completely fabricated persona he invented!

Cafasso should not only get jail time for defrauding Kathryn Cramer out of $20 grand, but he should get jail time for claiming military experience that he hasn't. The Fox News job is one where he was hired completely under false pretenses, although he had contacts, he is not military in any way shape or fashion except in his imagination.

Anyone who stands up and says 'the reason I work with Knightsbridge International is because I killed a kid in Vietnam' - when he wasn't in Vietnam, and spent only 44 days in the army before getting kicked out for unsuitable service! He needs to seriously spend some time with a psychiatrist, on meds, in a padded room! And take the people who fell for his lines with him!

He told Mississippi Presbyterians he was getting paid by Catholic Charities while embedded there although his roof was free because he slept in a Presbyterian Ministry apartment - ate food on ministry grounds - claimed the Vatican was wiring money to ministry - OF COURSE, that never materialized!

What a joke; a story about our boy is unfolding with the New York diocese! Boy, Joe, you stomped on the wrong Catholics from the Big Apple! You should know better than taking on those who live St. Patrick's but then again - you never did know your way around the circles you pretend to run in, because you don't!

You run when the gig is up, even with NY Catholic Charities!!! They claim Cafasso, while pretending to be Blackwood elsewhere, as Jay Cafasso, waltzed into the Chancery Spring of 2006, claiming he was a Knight of Malta!!! That's a pretty high society in the Roman Catholic Church; but then, like a bum, he said he "wanted to volunteer!" Editor's note: Reporter/photographer Paul Dunn is traveling with a group of Greenville men delivering relief supplies and providing assistance to the area near Thibodaux, La. This is a report on their third day in the field.

THIBODAUX, La. – Despite growing frustration over the pace and substance of the disaster relief effort here, members of Greenville's Cajun Country Convoy kicked themselves into high gear on Monday to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The Greenville men – Dick Carney, 66, of Peace Presbyterian Church; Randy Riddle, 50, of Hollywood Presbyterian Church; Danny Gonzalez, 50, of Covenant United Methodist Church and Homer Tyre, 24, of The Memorial Baptist Church – were partially hampered Monday by President Bush's trip to the Gulf Coast.

Security concerns all but shut down relief missions within a 25-mile radius of the president's entourage, said Jay Cafasso, who is overseeing logistics for the Thibodaux-based religious relief effort, dubbed J2K.

Several members of the convoy were poised to accompany other relief workers into New Orleans on Monday, but were grounded by the president's visit.

The quartet has worked the past couple of days inside the Thibodaux Fireman's Fair Office and Warehouse, which is being used to store donated supplies. Because of the need there, they have been unable to pursue relief missions to nearby hard-hit areas, such as Houma and Grand Isle, both on the Gulf Cost.

And though they're ready for other challenges, the men have toiled with intensity and good humor inside the 40-by-100 brick and corrugated tin building. The Greenville men were called to Thibodaux at the request of the Rev. Bill Crawford of Thibodaux First Presbyterian Church.

Crawford is helping coordinate the joint undertaking between Catholic Community Services and Presbyterian churches affiliated with the Presbyterian Disaster Relief agency.

Since arriving in this southeast Louisiana bayou town of 14,200 on Saturday afternoon, Greenville's relief workers have unloaded supplies, built four 32-foot-long shelving units and stacked and sorted mountains of food, clothing, paper products, tools, cleaners and other items intended for Katrina's victims. Monday, the men united their muscles and brains for the ultimate warehouse push.

The result: "God's Depot South," a Cajun Country Convoy grocery store. They'd decided Monday morning to spend their day stocking the plywood shelving units they'd built the day before, but before they were 30 minutes into their job, Riddle had an idea.

"I know. Let's arrange the food like it was a grocery store," he told the others. "Just think of yourselves as grocery clerks."

Without so much as a dirty word or blink of an eye, the three other men got to it. Soon, the place was an indoor farmer's market waiting to happen.

"I've got corn. I've got carrots. I've got peas, and I've got yams," Riddle sing-songed as he stacked canned vegetables.

Before you knew it, his buddies were needling him, laughing as they did.

"Hey," Riddle responded. "Just call me ‘the grocery store stock boy Nazi.' ”

Little by little, back and leg muscles by back and leg muscles, the shelves began to fill.

A fortress of stacked soup cans anchored the middle of one shelf, an equally impressive barricade of canned vegetables another. Bulk cans occupied their own places of distinction – peas, carrots, soup, ketchup.

Other food species, though lonely in their separateness, were more distinctive: A can of "Robert Rothschild Farm Onion Blossom Horseradish Dip" sat segregated on the shelf, as did a can of "Olde Cape Cod Gourmet Lobster Bisque."

Nearby, 32 cans of sardines in soybean oil waited for a lucky recipient, as did one can of "Tropical Red Papaya in Light Syrup."

Someone would get four packs of Spam, too – perhaps more than they bargained for.

The mere mention of the canned meat, called "Spamtabulous" by its manufacturers, elicited groans from everyone except Tyre, an ex-U.S. Marine.

"Ummm, Spam, that's some good stuff!" he said. "I love Spam."

As the men got the last of the supplies on the shelves, Gonzalez rejoiced.

"I'm kind of running on adrenaline," he said. "I'm tickled to death to get this stuff organized."

The men are hoping for a different kind of adrenaline rush, today.

They're ready to escape the Thibodaux Fireman's Fair Office and Warehouse.

"I'm just kind of dismayed by the effort, so far," Riddle said. "We've accomplished some good things, but we're ready to get out and directly help some people."

Tyre says "mental constipation" is causing the operation to drag. "I think they (organizers) have this Third World attitude here, and the situation is bad, yes, but not like that," he contended. "They're over-thinking."

Kathryn Cramer is an amazing example of a housewife that should stay in the kitchen. She left Carteret Con Artist OUT of her little complaints about the people who are 'defaming' her boyfriend, Joe Cafasso, the Colonel that Wasn't...the most important out of all the 'sister' blogs that she accuses of 'defaming' Cafasso. From Cao's blog comes an incredibly devastating example of why Wikipedia should be taken with a block of salt:

I am of two minds about whether to comment here, since I am not a neutral observer. It is notable and fairly well established that Cafasso and Jack Idema have a feud going.

Here are few pieces of evidence that can be cited: Idema is known to have co-written Robin Moore’s book The Hunt for Bin Laden (Idema even appers on the cover). (As I recall this is discussed in Robert Young Pelton’s Licensed to Kill.) The book contains an unfavorable discussion of Cafasso. Idema quotes from the book, using it as a reference on his official website ( Superpatriots.us) concerning Cafasso. HOWEVER, if you check the text of the passages Idema quotes, he has rewritten them to claim that Cafasso tried to get him killed. Also, Cafasso was a defendent in one of Idema’s lawsuits. The documents concerning the existence of the law suit are public record on the site of a Los Angeles court. Quotng from public record court docs would be a more appropriate way to document the feud than Caosblog.

Let’s check those passages, shall we? Let’s take a look at the book in question, but let’s also remember how idiotic this woman sounds. Remember, I’m not making up that Cafasso stole her computer, charged an expensive hotel bill on her credit card (which she apparently didn’t check) and that she claims he owes her 20 grand. These are indisputable facts admitted to by Ms. Cramer herself:

I’m sure the reason you’re ‘calling for information’ isn’t to ‘defame him’, lol…, right? It’s only anybody else who writes about the guy who is defaming Cafasso, according to you, which puts you in the only privileged position to write about him.

I’m not sure what Cafasso’s being a defendent in one of Idema’s lawsuits has to prove except that since he doesn’t have two pennies to pinch together and is hungry to dip his grubby hands into grants given to Christian ministries, I would imagine he’s pretty angry about that. He reacts very strongly when his lines of BS are no longer accepted or believed by people, we’ve seen that pretty clearly here at his Stuporpatriots blog.

Considering his psychiatric profile, it would seem as though he would be capable of just about anything in retaliation, wouldn’t it? At least to a reasonable person. This is also from your website:

The quote is DIRECTLY OUT OF THE BOOK, you stupid b*** but if you have the first edition printing, which was rushed to press, you won’t see it. Subsequent versions, including the paperback and the MacMillan version, all have that quote EXACTLY AS QUOTED, and nobody at the Superpatriots website rewrote anything.

Where is the comingling of defamatory statements? I missed that. Just as in the case of the photo album she said I had of her son- that didn’t exist, just as in the case of claiming I was stalking her and her family, and just as in the case of Michael Teague, Mookie Spicoli and all the other examples I’ve talked about here, Kathryn Cramer is not only off-base, she is lying. But it’s completely another thing now that she knows who he is. what he’s done to numerous people, and is still standing by it. This is amazingly stupid. The reason the quote was not complete in the first Random House editions was because the lawyers were confirming the authenticity of the actual taperecordings and matching Cafasso’s voice. They even got outside legal counsel opinions on it to make sure they were covered.

Cafasso lies, Kathryn. You’d think that you would have realized that by now, since he STOLE YOUR COMPUTER and charged a huge hotel bill on your American Express card under completely false pretenses. Cafasso raises hell over complete fabrications-just ask the people at Mendenhall Ministries in Mississippi. You’re fully aware of that, you swallowed the Gerry Blackwood with the patch over his eye story…lol - the “Beyond the Call” story, and numerous others, which don’t exactly paint this guy as a bastion of truth telling, yet for some reason you’re willing to believe he’s telling the truth about Idema.

With all that I’ve put up about Idema, you’d think that someone with even a small pea-brain would be able to figure out that if he was what Cafasso says he is, he would easily have been dead by now. But no, Cafasso is a liar about everything except Idema.

I know it’s a lot to expect from Kathryn Cramer, but instead of listening to Joe Cafasso’s sob stories, she really ought to get her facts straight.

Kathryn Cramer has absolutely no business editing Wikipedia. Cramer should have been STOPPED from writing her own bio, her husband’s bio, putting up information on Idema, putting up information on Cafasso, and linking to herself. She should not be allowed to create accolades to herself out of thin air. Cramer is entertaining complete fantasies about her alleged literary prowess, which is little more than bad science fiction writing. She has a completely out-of-control imagination; not to mention, an amazing sense of hubris and inability to face reality. Someone with a fertile imagination who can’t discern between reality and fantasy needs some serious psychological help, in my amateur opinion.

But that is where she’s exactly like Joe Cafasso and the two of them completely deserve each other.

There is no greater satisfaction than looking at Cramer - wearing that ugly green bathrobe with mud on her face. That is a picture that I will remember for time immemorial.

Knowing that he's traveling with someone's stolen laptop and the fact that when he was staying in an apartment paid for by a Christian ministry on the basis of complete lies given to the people who were running the ministry, it is a question worth asking: Whose laptop does Joe Cafasso use to get online? If it's a mac laptop, it probably originally belonged to Kathryn Cramer. But posession is 9/10ths of the law, right? Under what circumstances did he obtain that laptop, and why does he still have it? When he lived in that expensive hotel in Washington, D.C. on Kathryn Cramer's credit card, did he stop to think what would happen as a result? How many people does he think he can doublecross before people become determined to see that his story comes to and end and he gets the help he needs? He should either be someone's bitch in prison, or have a special padded room set up for him at Bellevue.

He is back at Stuporpatriots after a long hiatus. He was probably running when he found out that Jack Idema had been freed from Pulacharke. Now that he knows that Jack Idema is having some difficulty returning to the United States, probably because he stuck a monkey wrench into the wheels of progress, he is confidently posting on Stuporpatriots once more.

When he was in Mississippi, and wasn't getting his way because they saw through his lines of BS and wouldn't allow him to get access to account numbers and government grant money, he turned around and was trying to discredit people, and reported them to a number of federal agencies, just like he did with Jack Idema; this is a pattern of behavior that isn't isolated to what he's done to Jack Idema.

He has used at least 15 aliases and we continue to find out more names he's used. Online, he's talked to himself in comments sections on blogs like Free Republic under different names.

A DVD player, television and food went missing from the ministry he was leeching from. Joe Cafasso is nothing but a petty criminal who belongs in jail for skipping off on child support payments and representing himself as a soldier when he only spent 44 days in the Army and was kicked out for unsuitable service in order to ingratiate himself with the Christians he claimed he hated in "Outfoxed".

The reason he doesn't get away with his act - even with the Christians he tried to dupe with his former CIA and soldier stories - is because even a boy from the hood wouldn't have the audacity to manufacture the kinds of fiction that Cafasso tries to slip past people. He is so deluded and living in a world that reality doesn't touch, that he thinks nobody will stop him. He thinks that people are reading Stuporpatriots, when only a few of us are checking; some are the people who have an interest in seeing him stopped from doing more damage, and others are the people who he's helped along the way; some are regretting it now.

Cafasso's k-mart special forces look

Here's a funny picture of Joe Cafasso aka "Jay Cafasso" or "Jay Mosca" or whatever the name he's using today- in k-mart special forces regalia, trying to scam people into thinking he's some sort of CIA or special forces operative.

Look closely. 20-30 years ago it was cool to wear a Ray ban aviator sunglass pouch on your belt. This was in the 70's and early 80's. The backpack he's wearing could be an ICS rucksack that was made for the 82nd airborne, maybe the one that Idema designed, it's copied by blackhawk and eagle now, so it could be theirs. But the elastic on the left was only on Jack Idema's version. Although we'd have to see the actual rucksack to confirm it.

The carabiners are something that only SF guys do; but not this type. His are like cheap Kmart ones, that if hooked to a chopper, would bend and break in ten seconds. It looks like he's wearing a G-shock style watch, another SF signature. But that that floppy hat is totally out of place. This is so weird, who wears that in the 21st century? Perhaps that's because he's self-conscious about the two hairs on his head. Taken together, though, he has adopted this complete sf look; except it's a cheap manufactured k-mart version, which is completely identifiable. A real special forces guy would eat him up alive.

His get-up is so identifiably fake, it makes me want to puke. You see, when you have been in special forces, your body can get fat, and out of shape, but if you were in a long time, you always retain certain features, like big forearms or overly developed calves on the legs from carrying a heavy rucksack around. That is just one of the reasons why it's so obvious what a little pussy he is.

He is working terribly hard on a shoestring budget to look like a rough and tough guy with k-mart carabiners!!!! This is probably Manhattan, near the Cornell hospital area. We're pretty certain that is FDR Drive behind him.

We'll await more mis-spelled poorly written immature tantrums and illiterate diatribes like those that he shared with us over at Stuporpatriots.

Is anyone close to him that is watching all of this going to tell him to stop, plead with him to be reasonable, or chastise him for his immature behavior? Or are we all just going to watch him implode?

Joe Cafasso is a busy, busy little bee

I noticed when looking through the readings that Cafasso's nose is particularly pulled out of joint over the recent occurrences online, and that he's trying hard to figure out who is doing this as people were trying to figure out his identity behind the Stuporpatriots blog for so long. The jig is up; he's on the run. Cramer's having a meltdown, Pelton is searching for his name...it really is getting quite interesting. All because the frauds and liars have been revealed for what they are. Not that this will prevent them from raking in the dough because their crowd doesn't care if Cafasso is Blackwood; they're happy to see he's a 'victim' of Fox. The ideology of journalists nowadays is so extreme that they don't even realize when they're talking that rhetoric about 'real reporting' that the 'real reporting' they're talking about has an ideology attached to it. Which is one of the reasons that blogs popped up to begin with.

Cafasso doesn't think he's going to ever be caught, so he started up a blog aimed at John Tiffany called "Tiffany-Twisted.blogspot.com". It has a great depiction of Cafasso's face, too. It's 'batboy', and it really shows how desperate the man has become. Which isn't all the original...Indymedia has used that image before. In some circles that might considered a joke; people might say that this is what a moonbat really looks like. Don't worry, Joe, we continue to monitor your progress in a number of areas. When you find out who we are, you can come and break our kneecaps for us...or better yet...threaten us on bossy recorded messages because you're so out-of-control and aren't getting your way. File frivolous complaints, call NSA, write notes to paypal, ebay, and whatever else you've threatened people with. Oh yeah, I forgot. The Capitol Police, too. For a man as old as Cafasso is, it's puzzling that he would act like such an immature child in so many instances when he doesn't get his way.

Joe Cafasso; contrasting Stuporpatriots with Outfoxed

This is just the beginning. The following piece was written with the input from several sources and is the result of a collaboration between me and Causal Nexus. He has it up at Carteret Con Artist. There actually isn't that much of a contrast between Stuporpatriots and what Cafasso said at Outfoxed. Carteret Con Artist's post and mine are not completely identical, as we've both tweaked what we have up a little bit. The more we read of his rants, the more the writing style, the spelling errors, the same references to intelligence terms, the sadistic pleasure in peoples' misfortunes and his part in those misfortunes, is coming to the surface.

At his own blog Joe Cafasso bloviates, revealing the very sentiments he talked about in the short clip above in "outfoxed". This is just one example of it, but there are numerous examples over there. We deconstruct them for...LOLKICKS! Here is an illustration of what he briefly discussed in Outfoxed. First, the sarcastic tone and calling Kender by another name is demonstrative of someone who is intent upon revealing someone's identity who hasn't chosen to reveal it. Another problem is his ignorance in the use of contractions. He uses "its" instead of "it's". He probably doesn't even understand the difference. These are skills that most people learn in gradeschool, but skills which Joe Cafasso missed out on. He must have been bullying some kid on the playground for his lunch money when they covered that in first grade. Another key problem he has is the spelling and use of similar-sounding words, such as there, their, they're. He doesn't use them in the correct places. And this man has been masquerading as a PHD in discussion groups and no one has noticed these little details.

We are very focused on you anyway and just this once we will play since you do raise a couple of questions worth answering. Why all of Wideawakes? And can it be construed as harassment?

Well now. To answer your first question. Wideawakes was not even on our radar screen until its psychotic founder JackLynn made it an issue. Dumb mistake. So of course we looked into the writings. Stupor Patriots is non-political and dedicated only to Jack Idema until his alter-ego jumped in. Of course we have our own opinions on politics and world events. Most of which we all believe is nothing more than spin minus a hell of a lot of facts at the expense of the US Constitution and the American Public.

Notice his condescension over Cao at Cao's blog. He refers to her as "JackLynn" and calls her stupid. Cafasso, by all appearances, in spite of his objections, is very political, as his forced retirement from Fox would attest, in addition to his jumping on with the moveon.org crowd. These are simply lies. Spin minus facts? Let's see the evidence instead of the hyperbole. These aren't facts, these are generalizations.

Wideawakes adds to the sheeple factor just as its liberal counter-parts do. If you must know we here are Constitutionalists. Solid conservatives but with real world experience in matters of the beltway. We do deal with the liberal points of view in our own ways and in a matter of speaking very directly.

This is an interesting observation, that conservatives - or maybe more succinctly, Christians, are considered "sheeple". Counter-part is one word and is not hyphenated, it's a compound word. Constitutionalists? You certainly must mean Russia's constitution, but then, you've never been out of the country, have you? This must have something to do with your close association with that Russian interpretor you've been bragging about.

Wideawakes are a group of anonymous writers who share one common thread.... stupidity... and in many cases are worse than their liberal counter-parts. Lets call it ...christiantics....a mixture of religion and political antics that says, we are right and you are wrong no matter what the facts may be. At least you can sandbag the liberals with facts.

Despite their political affiliations, Christians are all stupid. Yet, I find no proof that anything he says regarding that group is true. Or is it Conservatives? Can you not be a Christian and be a liberal? This twisted logic is lost on me. I'm not certain exactly which he's discussing, since he's made another stupid generalization there - but - everyone is stupid but Joe Cafasso. This fits into the definition of a stalker, harrasser, and psychotic, all names which he's been called in the past, and all names that he calls other people to throw the focus off of himself. Not very clever, though, is it?

Most of Wideawakes have never been involved with Hill politics. Never attended meetings at Foggy Bottom or the Puzzle Palace. Never testified in front of a Congressional Committee and never been inside the beltway to see reality. But they project their own unfounded reality.

This is another signature, the names he makes up his own little phrases for things. Like "back in the 'stan'". Nobody calls Afghanistan 'the stan' who's ever been there. Now "Hill politics" we might have heard of, but "Foggy Bottom" or the "Puzzle Palace"? This is where he tries to impress us with his references to the intelligence community.

"Foggy Bottom" is the neighborhood in DC where the State Dept is located. Years ago folks referred to the intel of State as Foggy Bottom; today people refer to State intel as "I & R" as in State's "Intelligence and Research". Most people just refer to State today as "State" OR "I & R" for the intel section. In some intel circles some may refer to "Foggy Bottom" as opposed to "Ft. Meade" which is NSA or "Langley" as in "CIA headquarters" in McLean Virginia.

Puzzle Palace is a book about the NSA that Bamford wrote in 1982.

We already know that you testified in front of a Congressional Committee as a the head of the insurance lobby and a special forces soldier, which, of course is a lie. Your 44 days in the army never qualified you as a special forces soldier, although it's part of what you lay claim to having done that you never did. So we surmise he's correct about these people - they are upstanding citizens who are offering their opinions on subjects that he doesn't feel they're qualified for because they're 'stupid' by virtue of them all being Christians. A sweeping claim which he provides no evidence for. They should have no right to speak about any subject because they're 'dumb' in his "expert" omnipotent Joe Cafasso opinion. I'd bet none of them lied about their identities the way Cafasso has as Gerry Blackwood. But that doesn't make them stupid, that makes them honest.

Lets give you a couple of examples.....

Jack Idema.... Now lets see.... All of Wideawakes are Christians...Bible thumping Christians or so they say. Pro-life...of course that does not mean anti-death penalty, or champions for social justice or believers in war as a last resort, supporters of the first amendment for all equally.....Just anti-abortion.

There's that contraction issue once more, it's let's as in let us. That's right, they believe in giving murderers and rapists their just punishment. I've heard that Cafasso has a child, I wonder what gender. Any man who is a father, I would think, would want to see child molesters brought to justice. Some child molesters walk over the line when they're freed and become child molesting murderers. This doesn't seem to bother Cafasso, however. I'm not sure they're Bible thumpers, though, from what I can see there is not a lot of quoting bible verses over there, but that's just as a result of my perusing a few pages. Joe Cafasso claims he's not 'political', but he believes in the right to kill babies, and is against the death penalty, and is a champion for social justice and is against war. We've already seen all of this by his association with certain individuals, but to go so far as to say the Stuporpatriots is not a political blog and then make a venomous post in opposition to people who don't profess to hold his opinions on political issues, is simply absurd. But in the mind of a psychotic, the only person that matters in the world is the psychotic, so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

Personally, as you will see from the posts accumulated here, I'm not talking about much but Joe Cafasso and the fear he attempts at instilling in people with intimidation and other tactics. I don't express any sentiments one way or another about the war or anything else, as I leave that up to the 'experts', and I do not consider Cafasso to be one.

The rest they define.... So here we have Jack Idema who is anything but a Christian nor holds to any Christian beliefs and the last time that Jack went to Church was when he was Baptized....Now he gets hero type of support from this so-called Christian community even though the real facts say the reverse. Which is why JackLynn was convicted of 56 counts of wire fraud and why JackLynn is in jail right now. There is no grand conspiracy. Never was. While spinning his horsehocky is very Christian of you all. Its also very Christian of people to attack others they do not know just based one ones points of view without and common reference or basis in fact......Very Christian. Its also very Christian to re-write or should we say cut and paste distortions from Jacks site and verbally running off with the mouth... And we know YOU don't like it done to you! Right Lynn? Right Don? So why do it to others?

What does Jack Idema's religious persuasion have to do with this discussion? Perhaps Cafasso needs to justify his tirade. His hatred of Jack Idema and his setting up that blog to attack him and anyone who might be in support of him is curious. His denials that he is Joe Cafasso is equally as incredulous. Jack Idema apparently hurt Cafasso in some way; Cafasso blames him for his job loss at Fox. Cafasso blames Idema for not being able to take credit for the tapes. $200 a week, is what he was earning with Fox, wasn't it? Or was it the damage that the NYT Rutenberg piece did to his reputation as a military analyst and counterterrorism expert? From what we can see, he has done quite a bit afterwards, being cited as a source in numerous articles, books and other pieces such as Shadow Company. So that expose didn't really do much in the end to harm his reputation; leftists love criminals; that's why they hold candlelight vigils for mass murderers sitting on death row. Naturally it's the 'humanist' position that Cafasso takes.

Lets take a look at War.... The Wideawakes group, a Christian group, are major supporters of this so-called war in Iraq. Why? Especially when their beliefs go against the Lausanne Covenant of 1974. Because they believe that George Bush is not just one of them but was Divinely placed into office? Don't get us wrong we also believe in taking out Saddam. However the problem we have is very simple. The order of battle in this war on terrorism was taken out of order. Meaning after Afghanistan, which we did not finish..Iran was the next logical target. Iran the "most active state sponsor of terrorism". You can go back to 1983 and you will find that 85% of the worlds terror attacks can be linked the Iranian MOIS and the QUDS Force. In 1998 MSIC (Missile Space and Intelligence Command) was screaming about the Iranian Shahab Ballistic Missile Systems. In 2001 MSIC was screaming about the pending deployment of the Shahab 3 and in July of 2003 Iran operationally deployed the system while this Administration did absolutely nothing. Matter of fact in 2001 Iranian Special Forces were in Herat, Afghanistan supporting a warlord by the name of Ismail Kahn going against Karazi and our own forces. Did we take them out? Nope.... Yeah lets blame it all on the intelligence community....This administration is not any better than the last one.

I would assume that Wide Awakes Radio, Kender's project has done quite a bit to convince Joe he was way off the mark with his branding all of the Wide Awakes Christians. But he was fresh off of his tiny little tirade which launched him into being a movie star, the main point being the 'Christian rightwing'. "We're right, you're wrong, no matter what." A devastastingly stupid remark to have come out of the lips and rotten teeth of Joe Cafasso, the man who has lied his way into places he has no business being, only to profess expertise on the military and other issues that he simply doesn't have.

Not political, but talking about politics, and even in a backhanded sort of way, saying that Bush is as bad as Clinton was in terms of supporting the military. Did you get that, Joe? You can't keep your points straight, obviously.

Now Iran has the potential of going nuclear. Can we attack them now? Sure... Can we whoop'em? Sure... But the cost in American lives will be far greater now than before the Iraq war. Hell Baghdad is now called "Little Iran"... MOIS influence is strong in Afghanistan. Both this Administration and the Liberals say, Iran has nationalism! Hell since when did we ever care about the nationalism of an enemy? Bill Clinton bombed Yugoslavia. Did we care about its nationalism? We armed and supported the Muslims in Kosovo. Many of those are the same ones we are fighting today. But because this administration suffered for a bad case of cranial rectal inversion, American soldiers are caught in the middle of the pincer.....

What an intolerable twit. What Cafasso would really like is 'no war'. He doesn't see what nationalism really is. In Iraq, the intellect of a 35-year old man is that of a gradeschool child, here. And why is that? Because of Saddam's nationalism. It's the way the Arabs keep control over the population; by keeping them uneducated and ignorant, their existences meager and poor. You can talk all you want comparing what you know to what people know who've actually been there, Joe. Talking about things you know little about except when you get emails from journalists in other countries, but they aren't without an agenda now, are they? You should get yourself a passport...but then mommy's not buying your train tickets anymore, and to our knowledge, she never footed the bill for you to take a plane anywhere. Have you ever even ridden on an airplane, Joe? We know you've claimed to be a pilot. That kind of expertise would have to be included if you're going to represent yourself as the propagandist for the Association of Retired Aviation Professionals.

Are we any safer now than prior to 911? Not by much! While there are mid-level executives in both law enforcement and intelligence that could fix our problems with one hand tied behind their backs... But they are not political animals. Once again never place all of your loyality with any false prophets....especially the political type.... Like Reagan said, trust but verify!

As I said, not a political blog, but talking politics. You can't claim to be one and then go back on yourself, it's not consistent to those of us with rational minds. Not everyone displays the overwhelming tendency to lie. Ahh, but these points are lost on poor sick Joe Cafasso.

So that leads us the one of the main focuses on Wideawakes. Their lack of reality.... There is an old saying, "Never create your own limitations by taking the opinions of others and allowing those opinions to become yours without a common reference or basis in fact". Meaning do some real world research. Not the research as done by JackLynn.... real research...Not the duckspeak that Wideawakes adds to the dumbing of Americans. They are no better than their liberal counter-parts. Hence our decision to out....

He's only proven thus far how out of touch he is. Doesn't he realize that if he's going to pontificate on something, he should at least provide us with an example? Nothing there but generalizations, which are peppered throughout the bombastic tirade.

Still he hasn't pointed out examples of their lack of reality, he's pointed out his own simply by what it is he's writing. Taking the opinions of others and allowing those opinions to become yours without a common reference or basis in fact? What an interesting sentence. You are assuming, then, that everyone in your path that doesn't agree with you doesn't have the right to state their opinion, and that they're stupid as a result. Furthermore, that no research is good research unless it's fabricated by you and your associates. This is all very revealing.

Now does that constitute harassment? Nope... We have not been in contact with most of them with exception of those who have been stupid enough to reply to us, Like you Don... But harassment is, forcing your beliefs on someone else to a point where that person feels life threatened and receives threats, like Steven Pearcy. While we do not like Mr. Percy's politics he has a constitutional right to free speech without the threat of violence. The Nazi's did things like that! The Communists did things like that! The KKK did things like that! That Don is harassment! That Don is Domestic Terrorism! Posting a Treason Contest and threatening the life of a sitting US Senator is not just harassment but its also a criminal act and Don... We don't think much of Senator Kerry's politics either. But death threats? That's not even funny. Very Christian!

According to the law t constitutes harrassment, and it does in New York as well as other places like Illinois. But I suppose it depends on who's defining it. We asked Cao about the things that Joe is discussing in this last paragraph. It turns out to be rather hyperbolic. Stephen Pearcy is a man who is trying to make himself into a celebrity. That's just one point that Cafasso and Pearcy have in common. He lives in Berkley and has a house in Sacramento that he rents out, and has put horrible displays showing soldiers in effigy, and when outrage rises out of the community, he's looking for people to sue. According to his neighbor, Stephen Pearcy is wild about pursueing media coverage. huh. Just like Joe Cafasso! Pearcy will do things like stand on a street corner with a sign and yell at passing cars. We in Britain have people like that, also, they're called village idiots. He baits conservatives into doing something, and then sues them. He won, in fact, a $5,000 settlement because some military or former military person ripped down one of his displays. He's also responsible for an Anti-American art display that was put up at a public courthouse, paid by American tax dollars. He has also been known to say of US soldiers "I hope they all die". He was the first one to release Cao's personal information, (including a picture of her that was someone else) but Joe did Pearcy one better. Joe published an autotrack that not only held her personal information, but that of her relatives, inlaws, former inlaws, and neighbors at the past few residents she's lived at, with their phone numbers and partial social security numbers. Not content with that because blogger took the post down, incensed that he didn't get away with it and she was fighting back, he then took it one step further and began calling and sending letters to her employer, claiming she's blogging on company assets and company time. What's interesting to note is he's so out of touch with the working class person. It's easy to document what you've done on the days you've taken for personal time, which every employee is afforded. Cao is more than resourceful; she managed to get that post with her personal information on it taken down by filing a complaint with blogger, but it had already been up for a full 10 days. But this is the kind of people Cafasso and Pearcy are. If Pearcy is undergoing problems, it's because of what he's doing to people. Here's another example of it at Digger's Realm:

I have just received a phone call today at about 12:15 pm from Mr. Stephen Pearcy regarding this blog which I wrote March 9, 2005 about Mr. and Mrs. Pearcy who hung a soldier in effigy (twice) from the eaves of their home in Land Park in Sacramento. I also noted with links vulgar statements posted on Mr. Pearcy’s car.
In the call I received from Mr. Pearcy, he informed me that I am guilty of a "tortious interference with a business relationship" because I suggested that people who didn't like her private actions could email her employer.

He admitted in our conversation (which I'll admit to being more animated in response than he in his assertions where he played the typical passive/aggressor) that his wife had suffered no harm from my blog or that of anybody else's (yes, he disclosed that he is contacting a number of other bloggers in the same way as he was doing with me) in her business relationship and had in fact seen an increases in business since they went public with their sick actions (the Michael Moore effect I guess you should call it).

I asked him if he was contemplating a potential cause of action against me. Yes, if warranted, he responded in approximate terms.

Mark Butterworth also informs me that Eugene Volokh has personally given him some advice and help via email and that he has contacted Stephen Pearcy in regards to his threats of a lawsuit.

But Cafasso leaves out the many confrontations Pearcy has forced online and in person in Sacramento. One day, just like Cafasso, Pearcy is going to cross the wrong individual. Pearcy, like Cafasso, is more than slightly off-center. He even made it into the museum of leftwing lunacy.

But even more importantly not one of the Wideawakes bloggers spoke out against any of this type of behavior. NOT ONE. Not one spoke out against the verbal attacks sponsored by JackLynn.... Most either supported or remained neutral rather than face peer presure.....Not one spoke against the behavior which we find very bothersome....like the threats....the verbal attacks....So Hence the outing.....

So Don if you or any of the Wideawakes blogger feel offended....all we have to say is..... "They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind".... And we are the whirlwind that you all helped create.......

I haven't seen verbal attacks out of Lynn over at Cao's blog. But notice how he just says those things without providing links or any information to back up what he says. We're supposed to believe this anonymous windbag, until we realize he's Joe Cafasso the windbag, and then it just becomes fodder for a hearty laugh. What I have seen is thought provoking posts from a point of view rarely heard from, except on the blogs, which I find to be refreshing. That's how I was pulled into all of this to begin with; I, too wanted to express my opinion about something that hasn't been covered except by one or two people who paid dearly for it, because Joe desperately wants to maintain his 'image', even if it's a fake one.

The Wide Awakes haven't spoken about her behavior because she hasn't done what you're accusing her of. In reality, the real quote is

But what would he know about it, he already lives in hell-the Senton Hotel. He also uses that 'definition of insanity' quote at other times which speaks to 'doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results'. This is what Cafasso does, so I think it's great how he pulls these quotes out and tries to act like he's educated with a degree like..a PHD in Nuclear Physics- when - he barely graduated High School, if he even managed that. We already know that he failed first grade grammar and spelling, if his writing is an indicator.

Joe Cafasso appears to be a psychopath

And that is another reason why he is highly dangerous. Prisons are full of people with this personality disorder, one of the reasons many of us have concluded that imprisonment is the only thing that will stop him.

Psychopaths live their lives not caring about others' feelings, and showing a complete disregard for any sense of social obligation. This is how Joe Cafasso laughs about the pain he inflicts on others with the harangues from his blog. He is egocentric and lacks any insight or sense of responsibility or consequence, his emotions superficial and shallow, if they exist at all. He displays a breathtaking callousness, cunning manipulative skill, and is purely incapable of forming lasting relationships, let alone of any type of love. The true psychopath exhibits emotion which is mimicking other people's emotions, not something he actually feels. Cafasso shows no impulse control and has a low tolerance for frustration and aggression. He displays no sign of empathy, remorse, anxiety or guilt in relation to his behavior. In short, he is truly devoid of conscience.

Most studies of the psychopath have taken place among prison populations, though it has often been suggested that the psychopath is just as likely to sit on a Board of Directors as behind bars, concealing his true nature behind a well crafted "Mask of Sanity" (also the title of the one of the first definitive studies of psychopathy, written by Hervey M. Cleckley in 1941.)

Cleckley defined psychopathy thus:^[7]

Superficial charm and average intelligence.
Absence of delusions and other signs of irrational thinking.
Absence of nervousness or neurotic manifestations.
Unreliability.
Untruthfulness and insincerity.
Lack of remorse or shame.
Antisocial behavior without apparent compunction.
Poor judgement and failure to learn from experience.
Pathological egocentricity and incapacity to love.
General poverty in major affective reactions.
Specific loss of insight.
Unresponsiveness in general interpersonal relations.
Fantastic and uninviting behavior with drink, and sometimes without.
Suicide threats rarely carried out.
Sex life impersonal, trivial, and poorly integrated.
Failure to follow any life plan.

It has been shown that punishment and behavior modification techniques do not improve the behavior of a psychopath. They have been regularly observed to respond to both by becoming more cunning and hiding their behavior better. It has been suggested that traditional therapeutic approaches actually make them, if not worse, then far more adept at manipulating others and concealing their behavior. They are generally considered to be not only incurable but also untreatable.

Psychopaths also have a markedly distorted sense of the potential consequences of their actions, not only for others, but also for themselves. They do not, for example, deeply recognize the risk of being caught, disbelieved or injured as a result of their behaviour.

That last observation - that he doesn't recognize the risk of being caught, disbelieved or injured as a result of his behavior - will be his complete undoing.

In this case, Joe Cafasso is looking to seek revenge for what he thinks people have done to him in his lonely little world. He's a loner and socially inept, obsessed with his targets and bombards the internet with lies and taunts. Unfortunately, as we've seen in other cases, this stalking behavior can last for years and the intensity of the abuse can increase over time. The abuse initially consists of psychological violence, but we have seen cases where it escalates and eventually culminates in physical violence.

Ego & Power Trip stalkers like Joe Cafasso are the most difficult to guard against. Like a street gang looking for likely victims, these stalker are out to prove that they can terrorize someone, bragging about it to family, friends and acquaintances who might be mortified hearing about it, but understanding the psychology of the man, afraid to show it or raise questions or objections to the behavior. Cafasso is obvlivious to this, he's on a power trip and absolutely delirious over his perceived victories. The ego & power trip stalkers are the bullies online. And they are looking for a fight.

Over time you might find that 'walking away' which is what some people recommend in response to this behavior, simply doesn't work. The only way to confront the Joe Cafasso's of the world is to teach them a lesson by confronting them head on with the lies, fabrications, cowardice, manipulation, extortion, coercion, etc.

His appearance in Outfoxed was not only motivated by his being 'found out' and 'exposed' by the NYT and fired by Fox, but by his failure in getting access to these tapes. This is a common bully behavior trait-claiming ownership of someone else's accomplishments (because he has nothing to show for his pathetic existence).

Bullying involves the torment of others through verbal harassment, physical assault, or other more subtle methods of coercion such as manipulation.

This is a behavior that Joe Cafasso hasn't outgrown. That little sentence defining bullying is from Wikipedia's definition, and if the shoe fits, wear it! Cafasso has said outright to people that he wasn't above 'exortion', so it would seem that our friend Joe Cafasso fits this categorization. This observation was made in this post by The Way I Like It.

Bullies grow up to commit sexual harrassment in the workplace, to beat their wives, and many times as adults, end up in jail because they haven't learned that this is unacceptable. There is just one solution to this problem, according to victims of this beahvior in school:

Now according to the law, you can't just go up and clock someone in the face, but if it's provoked and you're defending yourself, that's completely another matter. If there's a TRO involved, that kind of retaliation isn't often even questioned by law enforcement. Personally, I'd call it 'divine retribution'.

I posted this as an example of exaggerated claims with regard to nukes, radiation and bio warfare. I just attended a BW (Bio Weapons) conference in NYC over the weekend and let me tell you I had to just shake my head. Much of this is really not understood which include radiation issues and all of these are still not understood by the Press. A lot of the confusion comes from those who are part of our community and survive on the "fear factor" and government grants.

I do not wish to underplay any potential terrorist act, but it seems many have lost the common sense approach to this. Currently in this Country right now a Ricin attack occurred in Washington. Watch how this is overplayed, like big time by the press.

I for one am sick and tired of web sites such as the ones I listed who pump more garbage into the public domain. I become even more alarmed when I get e-mails from the local law enforcement community wanting to know whether this information is true or tells me that sites like these give them more information than our own government.

Let me tell you what I believe is the biggest terrorist weapon of mass destruction. Fear and panic. After that conventional weapons, then nukes and dirty bombs, then bio weapons to some degree and then chemical weapons.

The hype out there is terrible and while I post some of this I also "act" to get web sites on the Fed's Radar Screen.

We all need to be doing better job of educating the public to the real threats, not just talking about them.

Believe it or not, in addition to his considerable bs on the military, he's got another 'claim to fame' which is affection for clipper ships and the history involved in them.

We have to consider the air, the ambiance, of the beautiful Newport area before we go on. The sprawling mansions, the incredible yachts and sailing boats, and.... Bannister's Wharf. It is at Bannister's Wharf where Joe Cafasso's clipper ship was being outfitted and modernized and undergoing an overhaul, according to Joe. This is a story he loved to tell, and which many people were witnesses to. You just have to give credit where credit is due. Giovanna raised a boy who turned into a man that never outgrew a child's active imagination.

Dream on, Joe...you never owned the sprawling home in Newport overlooking the Atlantic - although I'm sure that tale raised some eyebrows and impressed people. You never even owned the place in Normandy, France, you said you had, either. And you never had a 1940's clipper - named NUKEATER at Bannister's Wharf, either.

You might have had ties to a "law firm" in Warwick, but that might have been because of Uncle Angelo, the man who pled guilty to conspiracy to commit extortion in addition to actual extortion charges.

As to your claim of going to Brown University, that was your father, not you. For some reason I feel as though I'm in the movie "psycho" with Cafasso playing the Anthony Perkins character.

So...remember your 1940's era clipper boat - the one that was moored at Bannisters? You know, for those who are interested in the truth (and it's apparent that science fiction writer Kathryn Cramer and Robert Pelton among others are not)- it's very easy to stop and check that story out. We interviewed the management at Bannisters and all the other adjacent docks and these men are real boat lovers and they would have known if a 1940's clipper was there. Then you emailed around a picture of the boat! It was very easy to verify that this entire fantasy was as fake as the day is long.

The Belmont Club mentioned Shadow Company, the schlockumentary by Nick Bicanic and Jason Bourque, in this post of early September entitled, in English, "I am the State". Shadow Company is in line with stalinesque propaganda, which resonates in view of the men who produced that film. Bicanic graduated Cambridge with a degree in chemistry. What this has to do with film making is beyond me, but he has been dubbed a talented young fledgling film maker by Mother Jones. Bourque, as far as I can tell, directed a science fiction action film called "Game Over" which came out in 2003, starring Yasmine Bleeth. Bourque's flair for and interest in science fiction is revealing, considering who some of the more visible players are in this project. I'd like to make a few points and observations regarding some of what I've read on the subject.

Chester makes an interesting point which is lost on these people:

That in itself is shocking, taking into consideration that he is one of those journalists constructing stories from the comfort of a hotel room sometimes even in another country, rather than on the front lines, which is where he is purported to be. This is a journalist's illusion. But that isn't anything new, that is the way journalists do it today. Very few are actually imbedded with soldiers, they're more interested in interviewing terrorists. What the Belmont Club forgot to mention in the 'solid interview' reference was the collaboration with Kathryn Cramer, the science fiction writer, that took place on that project. Ms. Cramer has now somehow morphed into a military affairs expert! This is a woman who has never been around someone in uniform..unless it was a bellhop at the Fairmont Hotel, or room service.

Does this somehow relate to her illicit relationship with Joe Cafasso aka Gerry Blackwood? It does. It has to do with Cafasso's relationship with both of them, he merely received a few extra perks out of his relationship with Kathryn Cramer. Here we have a few examples of military shockumentaries, and books, based on political idealogy, international law and the UN's view that nobody has the right to defend themselves, in addition to the 'expert advice' of Cafasso, aka Gerry Blackwood, who has a Yankee White military clearance-a designation for direct access to the Whitehouse. Not that they'd ever bother to check it out, of course, but it throws a light on the question: what kind of research do these people actually do when they don't vet their sources?

But back to the duplicity demonstrated in "Shadow Company". The Belmont Club observed in that post:

Going by recent events in Lebanon, Hezbollah has achieved a stature and de-facto recognition that many states would envy. It's funny how Hezbollah and other terrorist groups, though receiving money and training from states to attack other states (called "proxy warfare") are never referred to as "mercenaries".

A sad fact that is never made mention of in that film, of course. These people don't know a thing about military strategy. Not to mention their books, which were based on their un-named source-the military and counterterrorism 'expert' Joe Cafasso. Of course they would never admit that they knew he was Cafasso. They thought he was Gerry Blackwood! Who doesn't even exist!

There are several points that were made here with regard to who was involved in that project, the experts, and their credentials in the field of privatized warfare. I will close with this observation made at Hell has come with it:

Pelton writes a book about contract military soldiers, mercenaries, and infamous "characters," based on all his lengthy experience in the Afghan and Iraq war zones. Problem is that Pelton's extensive experience, like Cramer's, is mostly in science fiction. But Pelton's con is a little more polished. At least Pelton actually flies into the war zone, and stays just long enough to snap some photos, take some hair-raising video, and head back to a safe hotel in another country to write his vivid front line battle stories. Pelton had a good thing going, until Cramer convinced him to use Colonel Blackwood as a primary source for his new book. Un-named of course, after all, you have to keep those secret CIA, Special Forces, Delta Force, Ranger, Navy SEAL, spook sources highly confidential. Heck, if you didn't do that, someone might just call you and tell you that your source, Colonel Blackwood, was in reality Colonel Cafasso, who was in reality, a private in the US Army, who was thrown out for unsuitable service after a mere 44 days. On the other hand, it's more time that either Cramer or Pelton had in the army, or the navy, or the coast guard, or even as cooks for anyone in a real uniform.

Cafasso himself said as Gerry Blackwood:

The question really should be. How often does the media get ot right? Most of the times I get more news watching the Cartoon Channel or reading the funny papers..... It's really a shame. You would think that reporters would really do there homework.

You know, I've been laughing for days about Cafasso's claim that he was sailing on the North Sea when he 'was called' to put on his Superman cape and come back the States to Louisiana to save those hurricane victims after Katrina hit. The writers in the blogosphere who are saying 'Jay Cafasso' during Katrina are wrong. He was there AFTER Katrina to capitalize on all the government money that was being thrown around in that area at the time. Still, you can't help but stop and think about someone who lives their complete life as a lie, who doesn't have any visible means of support, who runs around claiming he's J. Anthony Cafasso, Joe Mosca or Jay Mosca, Gerry Blackwood, PHD, Lt.Col.-US Army Retired, and a number of other names and aliases. This is the mark of a man who's deeply disturbed; who can't seem to live with himself as who he is, and who's embarrassed his family to the point where he no longer lives at the Carteret New Jersey address, and is reportedly staying in a flophouse in Brooklyn, which is, according to sources, a pay-by-the-hour place for women of ill repute and their kind. Some may find it fitting that he is finally relegated to the stature which he has earned; which is, quite simply, a panhandling bum; but someone has to be paying that hotel bill...we wonder just who that might be, and what the motives are for putting this man up at all.

He should be eating cans of beans along with train jumping tramps, after all. The only redeeming factor he has in his favor is how easily he manages to pull the wool over anyone's eyes, and the fact that he seems to have a way with women and manages to somehow convince them that he'd be a good husband. What makes them think that he would treat them well? Historically, his track record with women is that's he's a dismal failure with absolutely no prospects, particularly when they 'find him out'. This is a man who leverages his gift of gab, his way with women, and his sense of entitlement over them, in order to get access to their belongings, their account numbers, their passwords, etc.. This is, in my opinion, if not totally illegal, highly disreputable and dishonest, and goes beyond the boundaries of ethical behavior and goes over the line to criminal behavior.

I'm 'tweaking' the code here, and that completely works for me. Anyone who would like these additional features are welcome to do the hacks.

I'm looking for the solution of adding a clickable link in the banner/header part of this blog for 10-31. For those who aren't cops, 10-31 is the code for "is a lie detector available?" This should be used on Joe Cafasso, although I doubt his lies would even register on a machine, he's THAT experienced. This is a pathological liar, in my opinion.

I was haggling here with the code to make the clickable post titles show the correct permalink. To me, permalinks should NOT appear at the bottom of a post in the form of the time posted on a given date. This is what we're seeing across the blogger blogs, and I find it rather dull. This might demonstrate the level of excitement I have in my life; or the type of personality I have; I am excited by discovering solutions to problems and managed to do so in the instance of this coding dilemna I found myself in when I chose this template.

The code for this blog was found at blogskins, and the css was written by damien, but it has a glitch in the clickable post code.

I corrected it here after reading blogfresh and putting this together with the h2 references.

Each of us have a story, and it doesn't always show our best side. In the case of Joe Cafasso, we have as yet to see that 'best side'...because he's consumed with hatred and jealousy for people who actually have diplomas, and who've actually achieved something in their lives, such as the honorable people who've served in our military.

By portraying himself as Lt. Col. US-Army (ret), (Lieutenant Colonel, US-Army, retired), he has taken a little bit away from everyone who's spent time fighting for our country in the steamy jungles of Vietnam, or Laos, or Iran, or any of the places he has portrayed himself to have travelled in the service of our country.

The growing phenomenon of military frauds has reached a proportion of extreme magnitude. This is the beginning of telling a story that Joe Cafasso is resisting coming out, in contrast to the case he has built against a former special forces soldier, Jack Idema, who he constantly rails against, and at one point, even wanted to have killed.

You see, Joe Cafasso doesn't have the normal restrictions of those who follow the conforms of society. Joe Cafasso finds ways around the system, in a bigger way than even Abagnale did. Abagnale transformed himself into a new persona every few years, generated counterfeit money, and travelled the world. As far as we can tell, Cafasso, by contrast, hasn't ever left the United States, and perpetrates and lies in front of people in a relatively small geographic area. If you can imagine walking down the street and meeting eyes with someone who recognizes you, and racking your brain for when the last time you saw that person was, and who you said you were, and what lies you recounted as your experiences; this is the hell that Joe Cafasso has created for himself.

And his lies, his false tales of military heroism, are all catching up to him.
